How to price your harvest fairly

Set an asking price that attracts buyers and still pays you well.

  1. 1

    Check what others are asking

Open the Market page and compare asking prices for your crop in your district and nearby ones. Prices change by season, so look again before every new post.

  2. 2

    Price by grade and quantity

Clean, even produce deserves a higher price than mixed lots. Large quantities can carry a small discount per kilo, which helps wholesale buyers decide faster.

  3. 3

    Count your own costs

Add fertiliser, labour, transport and packing, then keep a margin on top. A price below cost only helps the buyer.

  4. 4

    Update when things change

If rain, a holiday or a nearby harvest moves the market, edit your post. A current price brings more calls than an old one.
