Farmer guides

Take photos that help your crop sell

Clear photos get more calls. You only need a phone and daylight.

  1. 1

    Use daylight

Shoot outdoors in the morning or late afternoon. Avoid harsh midday sun and flash, which wash out colour.

  2. 2

    Show the real produce

Photograph the actual lot, not an old picture. Buyers trust honest photos and ask fewer questions.

  3. 3

    Fill the frame

Move close, keep the camera steady and use a clean background such as a sack or tray. One wide shot and one close-up is enough.

  4. 4

    Show quantity

Include a photo of the full stack or the bags so the buyer can judge how much is available.
