These terms govern your use of FairPrice. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service.
FairPrice connects Sri Lankan growers and buyers. Compare asking prices, advertise produce and agree collection directly.
FairPrice provides tools to publish information, find other members and coordinate directly. Unless expressly stated, we are not a party to your transactions and do not collect payments, deliver goods or guarantee a sale, collection or payment. You agree prices, quality, quantities, payment and delivery with the other party.
Check crop type, grade, weight, freshness and pickup arrangements before trading. Listed prices are asking prices, not official market prices or completed sales. Approval of a listing does not certify quality, ownership or availability.
Use the service only if you can lawfully enter the relevant transaction, or with appropriate permission and supervision. Provide accurate details, protect your sign-in methods and use only accounts and businesses you are authorised to represent. Tell us through Contact if you suspect misuse.
Post only lawful, accurate information and content you own or have permission to share. Keep availability and prices current. Do not post fraudulent offers, prohibited goods, impersonation, harassment, spam or someone else’s private information without permission. You allow FairPrice to store, format and display your submitted content to operate the service; you retain ownership of it.
Information you choose to publish may be seen or copied by others. Use contact details only for the relevant enquiry; do not scrape them, send unsolicited marketing or harass members. Verify the other party and goods independently. Avoid paying deposits to people you have not verified, and arrange meetings and inspections safely.
Any applicable price, duration and conditions for a paid feature must be shown before you purchase. Pay only through an explicitly offered, authorised arrangement. Paid access does not guarantee leads, a sale or a return. No fee or subscription is created merely by reading these terms.
We may review, refuse or remove content and restrict accounts for suspected abuse, unlawful activity or breaches of these terms. Review is not certification of a member or listing. Use Contact to report a problem or request a review of an access decision.
The service and third-party maps, messaging and sign-in services may be interrupted, changed or unavailable. Keep your own copies of important records. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee accuracy or uninterrupted service and are not responsible for losses caused by another member or your transaction. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information. Resolve transaction disputes with the other party; report suspected fraud through Contact and, where appropriate, to the relevant authorities. Applicable Sri Lankan law governs use of the service, subject to mandatory rights elsewhere. We may update these terms by publishing a revised page and date; review changes before continuing to use the service.
